With all of the news from NASA lately about the new Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and the pictures from it of the Opportunity rover at Victoria crater, my buddy Mark Rules and I decided to do some exploring. The trip there was a bit of a challenge, but the climb was a bit easier than expected. Didn't even use our rope, although we had it and the gear bags just in case.

Jupiter Europa dirt track
A while back, while perusing images sent back from NASA's Galileo Jupiter probe, I noticed something a bit odd about this photo of the surface of Europa. I guess they like gas guzzlers up there too.
